A new Arc Raiders update has gone live today, and you’ll need to restart the client to download it. The patch focuses on tightening up map collision and removing a few spots where players could get out of bounds or be shot through geometry.
For anyone wondering about handheld performance, the game runs surprisingly well on Steam Deck, especially after the recent stability improvements.
Changes in this patch
• A zipline on Stella Montis that allowed players to get out of bounds has been removed
• A vaulting spot in Blue Gate that let players fall through a wall has been fixed
• Several objects with incorrect materials that failed to block bullets or ARC vision have been corrected
• A collision gap on the Spaceport Launch Tower that allowed players to be shot through a wall has been patched
Patch schedule shifting
Since launch, the developers have been releasing updates every Thursday to deal with the most urgent issues. That will no longer be a weekly cadence. Updates and store rotations will now move to Tuesdays.
With the winter break coming up, the team will also be taking some time off. They’ll still keep an eye on critical issues, but regular patches will resume in January.
Cold Snap arrives Tuesday
The larger Cold Snap update is due on Tuesday and will bring a wider set of fixes along with new content.
